Who IS this clown?

    The inimitable Grant Goodmorrow is a culinary arts aficionado (and chef of Mulleady's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Seattle), erstwhile rock 'n' roll hero, off-and-on gamer, student of Japanese culture and language, devourer of anime and manga and oh so much more.  Grant Goodmorrow may or may not also be a metalcore supergroup, but I think that's depending on how much I improve at being a drummer or "singer."  I also have a degree in public relations, but trust me, that career freaking SUCKED.

Why do you have a website?

    The genesis of the Grant Goodmorrow site came from me watching a show on the popularity of weblogs (blogs), and I thought that'd be a spiffy idea for me to carve out my own niche.  However, the GG site evolved into a forum for my fabulous recipes and cunningly charming wit, as well as a place to espouse my opinion and bitch about stuff.  The really ironic thing about this is while I'm coughing up cash each year for this place, 11-year-old kids are getting hundreds of times more hits on their free MySpace pages.

What do you do?

    I am a chef based out of Seattle, Washington.  I have worked for a variety of restaurants during my years, the names of whom you may view here.  If you would like to view pictures of some of my specials I've done, you can check them out here (WARNING: LONG LOAD TIME!!!) Eventually I plan on moving to Japan to open up a restaurant of my own, but I've got many hurdles to jump before then.

I totally don't understand your dating system.

  This actually started to bug me recently.  If you must know, I use the more common DD-MM-YY style, as opposed to the American MM-DD-YY style.  If you're wondering why, it's because I think it looks cooler.

Anything else we need to know?

    I'm a horribly reactive person.  I tend to do better when acted upon, rather than forging ahead of my own volition.  That's why this damn site can be so lame!  Nobody's given me any direction yet.  Call the GG site an exercise in forced initiative-taking...or something.

   Also, please feel free to suggest links, content or anything else you might want to see up here.  I'm all about designing menus for folks, too, so if you have anything to say or add, gowanspillit!  I always write back.  ALWAYS.
